Latest Pictures of Grandchild #1: James Byron Taylor!

Four Years		James has grown bigger and smarter this year. He loves to talk, in fact, he rarely stops talking. He's truly a social animal. Never met a stranger. He challenges Mom & Dad with a bit of a willful streak, so knows more than he should about Time Out.
Three Years		Mr. James: Fully potty-trained, and an awesome big brother to Joshua. Full of energy, he plays all-out, all the time. He loves Thomas the Tank Engine, macaroni & cheese, hide & seek, and trips to the park.
Two Years		James is expecting to have a younger brother within a few weeks! He loves cars and lining things up.  He loves to sing. His mother says he's the cutest Taylor ever. His vocabulary is expanding rapidly and now includes the very important words "Mimi" and "Poppaw."
21 Months		James found this Santa hat and put it on, and Sarah took the picture. James is starting to say a few words. He surely does love to play with his aunts & uncles! He'll be a big brother in three more months!

Fourteen Months		Two months after his first few tentative steps, he's flying on two feet. He's just gotten to the point where he prefers to walk over crawling.
One Year		Well he made it to one year! He's just beginning to take his first tentative steps. One thing's for sure: this little boy is loved.
Ten Months		He's as curious as ever, and now he has the speed and coordination to adventure. Makes lots of sounds and seems to communicate, but no words yet. (You'd think he would at least say "Grandpa")
Eight Months		James has grown unbelievably in the past two months! He's a slick crawler, keeps a whole room mesmerized with his facial expressions and magnetic smiles, and just graduated to rice cereal this week.
Six Months		James just started crawling! He's really gone from 0 to 60 in just a week's time. Hearing James giggle is always a delight. Jonathan seems to have something very funny in James eyes. Click the pic for a 30-second video.
Five Months		This kid is really a looker. He's trying so hard to talk. His eyes speak volumes. He can get up on all fours, but can't quite crawl. He's scooching.
Four Months		James is now rolling over from front to back or vice versa. He loves to be spoken to, and sports a huge grin when grinned at. He pushes up with his hands or knees, but can't do both at once. This month's pictures are with Grandpa Chas.
Three Months		James loves to study faces. He holds his head up, whether lying down or sitting up.  He has strong legs, and can stand up if you hold his hands.
Seven Weeks		It has been a heart-warming experience to see two inexperienced parents develop literally overnight into caring, loving and very capable parents! James is responding with his own happy personality.
Five Weeks		James is starting to smile a lot! What a precious bundle. This picture is from Mother's Day breakfast.
17 Days		Andy stayed up with James to let Adrianne get some rest. At 7AM he was making wonderful faces while sleeping on Andy's lap
Day One		A few pictures from the eventful arrival of Chas & Carrie's first grandchild...James emerged perfect!
At Birth		James Byron Taylor Born 4/7/04! Adrianne had induced labor through the night 4/6/04, but by morning was making little progress due to cephalopelvic disproportion (size 9 Taylor head). Then fetal distress and a rush to the O.R. If you don't mind graphic photos, the pix on the left are from the C-section.
