This page is dedicated to our second son, Joseph Adam Taylor, on his 21st birthday. (story starts at bottom).

	So he completed his Master's in Computer Engineering at Purdue, and took a job with Northrup-Grummon in LA. Rebecca took a job with Boeing in LA and the courtship continued. Well, I suppose it's time to sign off now that the first chapter of this story is complete and watch to see how Joe and his Bride write the rest of them. It's been a very, very good first chapter! 	Joe initially worked toward a degree in Electrical Engineering, with an internship at Hughes in LA. But this gave him enough experience to see that this was not really where his passions lay. He later transferred to the School of Computer Engineering, working toward his Master's degree. It was during this time that he met the incomparable Rebecca Karnes, a senior studying aeronautical engineering.
	One of Joe's most endearing qualities is his attention to his younger siblings (left). But what they love most is to play "Jump on Joey!"
	He has enjoyed and excelled in a number of sports, including wrestling and soccer. In recent years it's been rugby and weightlifting. At right are a few memories from his travels and vacations.
	Academics have come easily for him. The composite on the left contains a few telling tidbits from his scrapbooks, and his high school graduation photo. He's enjoyed the piano as well.
	Joe's infectious smile comes in many varieties, some of which are captured at left. His mischievous-but-fun streak is unmistakable in the pictures on the right.
	Joe was born in Indianapolis to Charles and Carrie Taylor (left). His big brother Dan was his near-constant companion in the early years, and they still share many interests.
