Jobs, Jobs, It's All About Jobs!
The news this past several months is primarily wrapped up in the
jobs arena. No pictures. Consider this: Dan just resigned his
high-flying job with Avanade to take a lower-paying but non-traveling
job with Interactive Intelligence Inc, located right here in Indy. He
wants to spend more time with Laura and Nathan. Joe resigned from a
solid take-no-chances job with Northrop-Grumman to take his chances
working from home for a small start-up company headed by a friend of
the Flinks. More risk, but greater opportunities for growth. Andy just
found out he'll be laid off from his factory job as Eaton Industries
moves jobs from Greenfield to Mexico. Fortunately, he'll have the rest
of his college degree in business paid for (he's in his 3rd year now).
Emily awaits her Brazilian visa to resume her work with the
International School in Carpina, Brazil. Luke graduated from Purdue
University at Christmas and is frustrated at the lack of jobs in
Financial Planning. He's planning to go back to school to get a degree
in Nursing, while the economy is in the stinks. Fortunately, (or
unfortunately if you're the patient) Chas' work in Cardiology has not
abated. |

Nathan 7 Month Pictures
This kid is just getting too cute for his own good. Crawling at
warp speed, he's not easy to photograph. And he never stops! |

Toboggan Run Fun
We had one really good snow that allowed us to make a pretty
decent ice run this year. It was great to have neighbors and friends
stop by to enjoy the fun with us. |

Jon Plays Upward Basketball
A local church has begun an already very successful community
outreach called Upward basketball. It's everything that's good about
sports, with the Gospel and character lessons on top. Very impressive.
Jonathan has enjoyed every minute, and has gotten awards for
memorizing his Bible verses! |

Panoramas
Several more panoramas of the back yard. I've collected one of
these pictures representing nearly every month of the year. Notice the
trampoline disappeared between the January and February entries: 50
mph winds came through the area, taking down trees, and depositing the
trampoline in the farmers field across the street. It was mangled
beyond repair. |
